I want this blog to be a love letter to my grandma. She passed away at the age of 90 this past August 29th. It has been rough since then. My grandma was the heart of our family. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her. Some days the memories are accompanied by a lot of tears, some days the sorrow is still suffocating, but there is ALWAYS the joy in what she meant to all of us.
Helping my mom go through all of my grandma's things just confirmed what I already knew- what a remarkable woman my grandma was. I want to share with you the wonder that was my grandma. This blog will be about food, art, crafts, ... a little bit of everything that made her the person that filled all of our hearts.
I think it will be good for me to share the memories- even if I am the only one reading it! If you do happen to wander by- I hope you enjoy!
